Tampa, FL (April 22, 2020) – On the evening of Friday, April 22, a Tampa man died in a car crash along State Road 574.
The crash occurred at approximately 8:40 p.m. A vehicle was traveling north on U.S. 301, while a sedan was traveling west on State Road 574 towards U.S. 301. The driver of the sedan ran a red light, causing a collision with the other vehicle. The sedan also collided with a traffic sign.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. The driver of the sedan was transported to a hospital, where he later died from crash-related injuries. The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
