Tampa, FL (February 25, 2020) – According to police, three adults and a child were injured in a multi-car crash on E. Hillsborough Avenue at N. 34th Street.
Witnesses described a car crossing the median as it headed westbound on Hillsborough Avenue. As soon as it crossed the median, the vehicle hit another car and an SVU.
No fatalities occurred, but a young child and female adult sustained critical injuries. Two other adult mails were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police officers closed the roads between N. 34th Street and N. 40th Street to investigate this collision and encouraged Tampa drivers to use alternate routes.
No information has been released to indicate the reason the first driver crossed the median. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
