On December 26, 2012, the Fifth District Court of Appeal affirmed the trial court’s decision denying Defendant Pendergraft’s Motion for New Trial and upholding the jury’s $36.7 Million medical malpractice verdict. The Court’s recent ruling means the troubled negligent doctor and his clinic --- the Orlando Women's Center – and his clinic -- will soon have to start paying out $36.7 million in damages awarded by the Orlando jury.
